This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to design and implement the technology for a new Amazon business. We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to design, implement and deliver end-to-end solutions.
As a Software Development Engineer on this team, you will design and create software designs and implementation for medium-to-large scale projects across all areas of this new automotive shopping initiative.

About the team
This role is one of the first on a newly formed team with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection. We’re collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars online.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
