Area Managers are responsible for all budgetary, people development and operations objectives of our Amazon Fulfillment Center.

1) Drives creation of staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Change/Six Sigma initiatives to enable their Functional Area and ultimately the FC to meet and exceed Business Plan. Sets/clarifies requirements and expectations for Area Managers.

Basic qualifications –
• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Operations.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred qualifications
1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience

Key job responsibilities
Other requirements:
• Direct management experience for employees and their performance
• Experience with performance metrics and process improvement (how, when, who)
• Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly
