Responsibilities:
Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate leads and qualify potential clients
Engage with prospects through various channels, including cold calling, emails, and social media platforms
Articulate Upwork’s value proposition and explain how our platform can meet the needs of potential clients
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions in the CRM system
Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to effectively position Upwork’s services.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in business development, sales, or a related field is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to build rapport with potential clients
Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is desirable
