- Oversee the IT operations team and manage all aspects of IT infrastructure and systems/ Event/Incident/ problem. & Change Management
- Develop and implement strategies for IT operations, including security, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and procedures.
- Monitor and manage the performance of IT systems, applications, and equipment.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the IT operations team and other IT staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritise IT needs.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for hardware, software, and other IT services.
- Should be good at people management and MIS
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and systems to enhance the company’s IT infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT operations management.
- Proven experience managing teams of IT professionals.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, DC/ Cloud technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement IT strategies and plans.
- Experience with security, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Knowledge of cloud computing, virtualisation, and other emerging technologies.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
