Responsibilities
• Carry out cargo operations in accordance with applicable regulations and standards listed in this manual. Please ensure that the package/AWB shows proper packaging, labeling, and weight prior to receipt. Ensure cargo is properly packed according to sales plan. • Ensure that all safety / security and SOP’s with regard to Cargo operations are taken care of. Be aware of and comply with his / her safety responsibilities and accountabilities as laid down in the IndiGo SMS Manual, Chapter Safety Policy and Objectives.
Education Requirement :
- Bachelor’s Degree
Skills Requirement
Understand domestic and international aviation regulations related to cargo transportation to ensure compliance and safety.
Knowledge of handling various types of cargo, including perishables, hazardous materials, bulk cargo, and general cargo while adhering to safety and handling procedures.
Knowledge of organizing and managing cargo storage, including inventory management, efficient storage methods, and effective use of space.
Understand cargo safety measures and procedures to ensure safe handling of cargo at each stage of transportation.
