Responsibilities
This is a hands-on technical role.
Provides Level 2+ (Professional Level) operational support to resolve critical business issues that require in-depth network troubleshooting techniques and performance analysis.
Provide independent network infrastructure support, resolve complex issues, and recommend design changes as needed.
Resource should have good comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Aruba Wireless.
The resource should have experience in LAN switching, including troubleshooting various LAN-related issues such as VTP and STP, and be familiar with packet capture on various platforms.
Must be able to work with multiple routing technologies and resolve issues related to BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
Resource requires knowledge of VMware Velocloud SD-WAN.
Knowledge of DHCP server maintenance.
Knowledge of various NAC and security tools, including Aruba ClearPass.
Experience managing Zscaler, including ZIA and ZPA, is required.
Work with experienced team members to perform monitoring and maintenance across your environment.
Perform change control. Update process documentation and team portals.
Participate in troubleshooting, capacity planning and analysis, performance analysis, and root cause analysis.
Communicate with co-workers and managers about system issues and participate in 24/7 on-call duties.
Automate operational tasks to simplify and improve process stability.
Ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
Manage network service providers and matrix resources.
Update heatmaps and operational plans for the campus network and all WAN, LAN, and WLAN connections.
Monitor and analyze statistical data to develop plans to improve network and application performance.

Assist with on-call escalations and perform root cause analysis of specific issues.
. Independent ticket resolution within agreed SLAs regarding ticket volume and time.
. Compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
. Engage in value-added activities such as knowledge base and management updates, new employee training, and analyst mentoring.
Ensure good customer experience and CSAT through first call resolution and minimum number of rejected resolutions or case reopenings.
