Job Info:
- As a UI Engineer IV, You will be responsible to act independently as a top-level contributor and roll out high volume, high transaction website and web applications including end-to-end ownership of complex components and subsystems.. You are expected to actively mentor junior engineers and guide them in good development / best practices and maintain a high quality codebase. We are looking for seasoned engineers who are quality conscious, product thinkers, business cognizant and smart – not mere coders. The same scale also demands the engineers to produce super-efficient solutions.
What experience we’d like you to have:
- Experience in building next-generation web applications which are efficient, reusable front-end abstractions ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
- Hands-on experience in building web applications using HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS, CSS3, ReactJS & ReactNative (or equivalent frameworks like Flutter).
- Strong experience in web standards, best practices and accessibility.
- Experience in architecting frontend engineering ensuring modularity, scalability and flexibility
- Proficient with cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
- Understanding and experience with asynchronous javascript, partial page refresh, DOM traversal and manipulation.
- Experience in Typescript (Good to Have)
- Preferred master’s in computer science, Software Engineering, or commensurate work experience
Other requirements:
- B.E/B.Tech or any other similar qualification with at least 8 years of experience in UI technology stack.
- Strong in software development process, test driven development (like Jest, Jasmine or cucumber).
- Strong OO design skills/implementation of design patterns.
- Strong analysis, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to clearly communicate technical decisions and tradeoffs to clients and project stakeholders
- Experience with JavaScript module bundlers, minifiers & obfuscation libraries.
- Experience in creating and maintaining a design language system or documented UI framework.
