Introduction: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (DMRC) is a significant joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Known as the “Lifeline of Delhi,” DMRC is responsible for implementing the rail-based Mass Rapid Transit System in the bustling capital. With a workforce of around 14,500 employees, DMRC operates mass rapid transit services in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Patna, carrying about 3 million passengers daily. DMRC also provides consultancy services to Metro projects in India and abroad.
Job Details: DMRC invites applications for the role of Part-Time Visiting Consultant Doctor (General Physician). This role is temporary and hourly paid, serving DMRC Residential Colonies in Delhi/NCR.

Essential Qualifications & Criteria:
- MBBS Degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification, recognized by the Delhi Medical Council (DMC). Valid registrations are essential.
- Applicants with a postgraduate degree in General Medicine can also apply.
- Preference given to those enrolled in other PSU’s for similar assignments.
- Minimum of five years (post qualification) experience in the field required.
- Age as of November 30, 2023, should not exceed 60 years.
Other Terms and Conditions:
- Empaneled doctors required to visit Delhi Metro Staff Quarters once a week as needed.
- Appointment & Tenure: Engagement is temporary for three years, with possible extension based on satisfactory performance.
- Emoluments: Remuneration is based on actual duty hours performed, at Rs. 2300/- per hour (inclusive of transport, etc).
