• Undertake risk assessments as required and follow up control measures to completion
• Complete daily metrics and callouts from the sites
• Take a Deep Dive into safety data, as you monitor incidents and near miss events data from various data sources.
• Weekly report to furnish trend charts and insights on the incidents and near misses happened in a week
• Become a subject matter expert in your specific level of competence, while staying vigilant and not disclosing any sensitive information outside of your particular level,
• Investigate accidents, near misses and any incidents, as you establish root cause,
• Update internal records regarding incidents, near misses and accidents,
• Undertake action plans to ensure continuing, sustained compliance with legislation,
• Conduct yourself professionally at all times: you maintain confidentiality in matters involving safety investigations,
• Flexibility on hours worked to cover shifts

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Competent business and technical writing skills.
• Analytical skills – has ability to ask right questions, analyze data, draws conclusion by making appropriate assumptions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in Excel – Prior experience on Advanced excel, conditional formatting, Vlookup and VBA macros.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma analytical techniques is a plus
