Job Description:
Amazon is looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Controllership Specialists. As a Controllership Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular reviews and reconciliations of financial transactions and accounts
Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in financial data
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit schedules
Support internal and external audits
Stay updated with accounting regulations and best practices
Participate in process improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Graduation in any discipline (preferably in Finance or Accounting)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
Proficiency in using MS Excel and other accounting software
Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Prior experience in controllership or audit is a plus
