Overview: GE invites skilled and experienced individuals to join their team as a Leader, Freight Payment in Bangalore. As a key player in the supply chain, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of freight pay operations, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing for both inbound and outbound shipments.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document current solutions for freight audit and payment.
- Design innovative solutions for the new freight audit and payment process in collaboration with the freight pay team and partners.
- Document requirements for effective communication with vendors and GE HealthCare stakeholders.
- Test and implement new solutions for freight audit with current and/or new service providers.
- Develop and maintain Global Standard Operating Procedures, working with teams to establish standard work.
- Monitor new implementations, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of freight audit procedures.
- Support the development of data analytics to monitor key performance indicators.
- Foster strong relationships with logistics providers and freight audit vendors to ensure smooth audit processes.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, payment policies, and market trends for compliance and informed decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced experience in supply chain, business, finance, or logistics.
- Bachelor’s degree or High School diploma with a successful track record in managing supply chain or similar processes.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, project management skills, and experience with Lean continuous improvement.
