Responsibilities
• Understand all reinsurance processes and be able to investigate and process newly written/assigned reinsurance business and renewal transactions on a daily basis.
• Balance new and renewal reinsurance contracts. At the strategic level, understand how each reinsurance program supports your activities by delivering premium growth, retaining premiums, ensuring excess ratios, reducing the risk of catastrophic losses, etc. .
• Provide optional support and services to customers in the UK, US, and Asia Pacific.
• Comply with underwriting rules and guidelines and build positive customer relationships through providing excellent service.
• Meet regularly with business unit managers and reinsurance officers to discuss the strategic value of reinsurance contracts and make recommendations to management regarding the execution of new reinsurance contracts.
• Maintain a work tracking system to provide up-to-date and accurate metrics regarding voluntary reinsurance submissions. Premium reservation activity.
• Exception handling for complex facultative reinsurance contracts that require processing outside of the standard reinsurance workflow.
Education Requirement :
• Any graduate except technical
• Meaningful experience in Reinsurance & Underwriting will be an advantage
Skills Requirement
• Required P&C Reinsurance revel in in Facultative commercial enterprise and properly knowledge of Reinsurance Slips & Certificate
• Knowledge of Endorsement processing and Premium calculation and publicity to UK & US Reinsurance markets
• Preferred Certification in Insurance & Reinsurance e.g. LM1, LM2, IIA & ARE
• Proficient in MS workplace and Excel
• Good in Analytical Ability and Decision-making
• Excellent interpersonal skills
