The focus of this fast-growing center spans Product Development, Product Management, Experience Design, User Research, Market Intelligence, Research in areas of Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning, Innovation, Customer Success, Enterprise Business Solutions, and Sales.
The Product Manager as a part of scrum team, will provide direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities. Attention to detail, customer-focused and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.
What you’ll be doing:
Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI for our Product Information Management (PIM) system, which is the source of truth for fonts and metadata at Monotype, feeding our e-commerce sites and SaaS product lines.
Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development to ensure that the development team always has an adequate number of groomed stories to work on to maximize capacity.
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
Work closely with internal Research team to analyze market, users, and the roadmap for the product.
Follow competition and industry trends, as well as Agile/Scrum best practices and trends.
Build and manage strong working relationships with the cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, User Experience, Customer Care, Sales, Sales Support and external vendors needed to drive an efficient development effort for new Digital Commerce initiatives.
Ensures communication with all stakeholders is being managed effectively.

What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in business or Technical Degree.
5+ years’ experience in Product Management.
3+ years’ experience with Product Information Management systems (PIM) and a technical aptitude to understand data structures and improve processes around data.
In-depth knowledge of Agile process and scrum principles and prior experience using Jira.
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
Creative thinker with a vision.
Demonstrates aptitude of attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and assess value to business goal and strategy.
Eagerness to learn from a new environment and make an impact quickly.
Experience with leading large, cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and results.

Ability to understand complex and technical concepts and translate them into simplified product attributes to deliver an enhanced customer experience.
Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Aptitude for technical products.
Excellent spoken, written, cognitive, and communication skills in English.
Excellent analytical skills.
Strong business sense and sense of urgency to achieve business results.
