Job Description:

Capgemini, a global leader in consulting, technology services, and digital transformation, is currently seeking talented individuals to join our team as Service Desk Engineers. As a Service Desk Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and excellent customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Provide first-line technical support to end-users, resolving IT-related issues via phone, email, or chat.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
Document and track incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate support teams and follow up until the problem is resolved.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and configurations.
Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and deliver high-quality support to meet client expectations.
Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and technologies to enhance troubleshooting skills.
Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong technical knowledge of desktops, laptops, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and productivity applications.
Familiarity with basic networking concepts and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Proficiency in using IT service management tools and ticketing systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
