• Applies technical expertise to quickly resolve standard to moderately complex production issues with Linux servers, GCP and VMware/Nutanix products.
• Responsible for providing remote support in resolving Linux Servers issues when problems have been identified.
• Position yourself as a trusted advisor to customers, colleagues and partner with them to understand their requirements for Linux implementations and migrations on OnPrem and GCP Platforms
• Provide recommendations to project teams with respect to cloud migrations and prepare technical implementation roadmaps for GCP adoption.
• Contributes to “risks and issues” log and works on SIPs implementation to mitigate the risks & issues.
• Responsible for attending to daily service requests, resolving incidents, problem management, Adhoc requests and attending service management meetings/conferences, performing documentation and follow ups.
• Interacts with Project Managers on business projects and delivers as per their project requirements, which includes implementation of new projects as per requirements, etc.
• Implements technical initiatives and process improvements.
• Design state-of-the-art technical solutions on GCP that address customer’s requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance and leverage existing investments in GCP/MS platforms.

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in all aspects of Linux servers, including Installation/Configuration/Administration/ troubleshooting/migrations and best practices.
• 4+ years of L3 experience in Linux admin and server virtualization experience.
• Good understanding of Server Automation, Python Script development in automating IT Infrastructure.
• Understanding of Cloud technologies.
• Hands on experience of managing troubleshooting experience on server platforms.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTP and assorted other protocols
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects; both short term and long term.
• Hands on experience of server builds and data center operational activities.
